How to insert Rupee Symbol in Word

1. Type 20b9 and press Alt+X

2. If your symbol is showing like a box

3. Change your font into Segoe UI Semilight

4. Here is your Rupee Symbol.

How to insert Rupee Symbol in Excel Cell

1. Type your numbers on excel sheet.

2. Move on number group & select the currency option OR Use Ctrl+1 for cell format.

3. Pick the Indian Rupees (INR).

4. Here is your symbol before your data.

When you use currency symbol default it pick US Dollar ($). Here is a way to change it

1. Move on Control panel

2. Move on Clock, Language, Region (Change keyboard or other input methods)

3. Add English India keyboard.

4. After that move on Format then Additional settings then Change the format to Rs.

5. Apply all the changes and pick the Ok.

6. Now whenever you pick the currency it will pick INR on the place of US Dollar($).
